By accessing or using Klokkit ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Klokkit is a free time tracking application that allows users to record work hours, manage multiple workspaces, use concurrent session tracking, pause and resume timers with break tracking, and view daily, weekly, and heatmap summaries. The Service is provided "as is" and "as available."

3. User Accounts

• You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
• You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
• You must be at least 13 years of age to use the Service.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any illegal purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure
• Upload malicious code or attempt to exploit vulnerabilities
• Impersonate another user or person

The Klokkit name and logo are trademarks of the project maintainers. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.

6. User Data

You retain ownership of all time tracking data you create within the Service, including clock-in/out records, break logs, and workspace data. You may export or delete your data at any time. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for details on how your data is handled.

7. Service Availability

We strive to keep the Service available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be temporarily unavailable for maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Klokkit and its contributors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Service.

The Service is provided for time tracking purposes only and should not be relied upon as the sole record for legal, financial, or compliance purposes.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "AS IS" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time through the Settings page. Upon termination, your data will be permanently deleted.

11. Changes to Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. The most current version will always be available on this page. By continuing to use the Service after changes are posted, you agree to the revised Terms.
